Whether you’re a large enterprise or working solo, the EaseUS Data Recovery wizard promises to help you recover files erased by programs and accidentally deleted files. This can be essential in helping you to keep the information and data you need, even if you experienced issues with deleted files.
EaseUS also promises to help users to access non-mounting, corrupted, and raw partitions. Additionally, more advanced users are able to recover data from servers and RAID storage units.
On paper, the EaseUs Data Recovery Wizard sounds like a total life-saver. However, some question its safety and overall effectiveness. In this EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard review, we’ll breakdown just how safe and functional this program can be.
EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard promises to be a powerful recovery program backed by advanced features, a usable interface, and a fast deep scan tool. Below, we’ll break down the most important components of this program to determine if it actually works as intended.
What is EaseUS?
Let’s start with the basics — what is EaseUS?
Simply put, EaseUS is a data recovery program that is designed to help you to recover both accidentally deleted files and those that have been inadvertently removed by programs.
Available for Windows and MAC, users can also retrieve lost data from RAID storage and servers.
The software is definitely geared towards more professional use, but it is a solid option for home users or small businesses as well.
The intention of the program is to guarantee that you never lose your data, as the data is always backed up in the cloud, preventing emergencies from arising in the first place.
Does EaseUS Actually Work?
Any program can sound good on paper, but if it doesn’t work as intended, it might as well be dead in the water. With that said, does EaseUS actually work?
In our experience testing the program, EaseUS does actually work in recovering files and data. We found that on a hard disk, EaseUS could easily find and recover deleted graphic files that other software missed. It also provides an optional deep scan on the drive of the computer itself, seeking recovering files and letting you search/preview files that the app finds in the process.
Since you can find files during the scanning process, the service is convenient and efficient. Upon testing on a rather large 2TB spinning-platter drive, we found that EaseUS required less than 10 hours for a full scan. Other services can take up to 30 hours or more, without allowing you to actually recover files during the scanning process.
As soon as you launch EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, you can see a full list of locations on your system where the program can search for lost data or files. Simply click a location and then the scan button. The program automatically goes to work creating a full file list and a list of deleted files.
EaseUS easily and quickly recovered the lost data and files we had lost, without the time-consuming headaches that other recovery programs can bring. Additionally, finding lost files on RAID and servers was easy and effective.
EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Features
One thing we found about EaseUS is that it doesn’t matter where your files are stored or mistakenly formatted, the recovery wizard will help you to get back your files regardless of how they were lost. Let’s take a look at the key features of the EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard below:

EaseUS Pricing Plans
One thing that is truly great about the EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard is that they offer a completely free version that is capable of rescuing up to 2GB of data at a time. Rival services only allow users to recover 1GB before having to shell out their hard-earned dough.
If you’re a larger enterprise or simply need to recover more than 2GB of data, you can upgrade to the Ease US Pro Version for $69.95. There is also a Pro+Bootable Media version available for $99.90.
Many other plans are available based on your specific needs.
Each paid-for option does include a free trial so that you can get a feel for the surface before purchase. Obviously, you will get a greater degree of features to utilize with the paid-for versions of the service than the free version.
Is EaseUS Safe?
In our experience with the program, EaseUS appears to be a very reputable and safe program that takes great strides to protect your privacy.
They utilize a secure 256-bit SSL encryption of all files, which is more than can be expected for most free services. EaseUS also automatically encrypts all recovered data for you, while also allowing you to customize your level of encryption on precious data.
EaseUS also has a very high TrustPilot rating with thousands of positive reviews. There have been no reports of issues or scamming with EaseUS, only safe recovery of deleted or lost files and data. Overall, we believe EaseUS is a very safe solution.
- Fast, reliable, performance with the option of searching during the scan
- Recovers files other products cannot restore
- Simple sorting of specific file types and deleted files
- User-friendly interface and systems
- Free option with up to 2GB of recoverable data before upgrading

While we recognize that no data recovery app is perfect, in testing the EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard during the review, we found that this software was adept at recovering files few others could find.

The 30 day money back guarantee is conditional on them diagnosing the problem as their software not working. I used EaseUS partition master and it resulted in a drive that no longer boots and had an error and had to spend hours doing data recovery. They won’t honor their 30 day money back guarantee unless I spend time running their tests on the drive. The drive was a client’s and already installed in a new machine as a storage drive after the data recovery. I would spend more time doing their test than the $40 refund would be worth, even if I had the option.
This product did not work for case , even dough I couldn’t opened. The company EaseUs refused
( after several attempts ) to refund my money. From. A product that doesn’t work as they loudly advertised without explanations
Still hard to believe that we USA are under the international fair trade laws and this company plain and simple ignored them.
