Is FusionCash a Scam? Read this Review Before Joining

Fusion Cash is not a scam. It’s a website that pays you to do various tasks. You can get paid for taking surveys, signing up for other websites, reading emails, and more. Later in this review I’ll be listing ALL the different ways to make money with Fusion Cash. They have been around since 2005, which is a long time for these types of websites.

How Does FusionCash Work?

Fusion Cash pays you real cash for doing things like surveys, offers, and reading emails. The pay is very low though, so don’t expect to replace your job with this site.

I tried a few of their options for making money, and had accumulated about $1.50 after a couple hours. This is pretty typical pay with any “Get Paid To” sites unfortunately.

Following is a list of ways to earn money with Fusion Cash:

Take Surveys

List of available surveys in Fusion Cash

Fusion Cash offers a pretty large list of available surveys at any given time, and they each pay anywhere from $0.35 to $4.00 or more. Each survey also shows the estimated time it will take to complete it, most of them being in the 5-30-minute range. In general, the longer the survey, the higher the pay. However, I did see one that pays $1.30 and takes only 4 minutes.

I attempted 5 surveys, but unfortunately I disqualified from them all. I guess my demographic isn’t useful for researchers…. On the plus side, I did get a $0.01 bonus for each disqualification, so that was nice.

Complete Offers

List of Fusion Cash offers to complete

The quickest way to make money with Fusion Cash is definitely by completing offers. They have a bunch to choose from, and you can sort them by “No Credit Card Needed”, “Repeatable Daily”, and so on. Most of the offers require you to sign up for other websites, but some require your credit card information and others you actually have to pay for.

I would recommend only doing offers that you’re genuinely interested in. It’s simply not worth it to give out your CC info or pay for a service you have no interest in.

Read Emails

You can sign up to receive a paid email from Fusion Cash every day, and clicking the email will earn you 2 cents. Not bad if you don’t mind spending a minute of your time each day doing this.

Listen to the Radio

Yes, you can actually get paid to listen to the radio. Every 30 minutes, a CAPTCHA code will appear and you’ll get paid $0.03 each time you enter it. If you exceed $0.15 in one day, you’ll also get a $0.01 bonus.

Watch Videos

You can get paid a couple cents for watching a short playlist of videos. Run the videos in the background while working on other things, and it’s essentially passive income.

Paid to Click

Fusion Cash Paid to Click

This one is a little confusing, as it’s not so simple as “paid to click”. First, you have to spend a few minutes clicking on 4 different pages showing information like local weather, gas prices, and entertainment. Then you have to click an ad, and then stay on a certain website for a minimum of 60 seconds. Finally, you’ll be rewarded $0.15 after filling out a CAPTCHA code.

Complete Crowdflower Tasks

Crowdflower pays you for doing micro tasks, like organizing data for example. Most of these tasks only pay pennies, but a few pay several dollars.

Download Apps

Fusion Cash will pay you to download apps on your mobile phone or tablet. I saw one that pays $5 to download it on your android or iphone.

Refer your FriendsFusion Cash referral bonus

Fusion Cash has a pretty decent referral program. You can earn $1 when a referral confirms their email, $2 when they complete a Paid to Sign Up offer, and $5 each time they are approved for cash out – for life!

If you can rack up a good number of referrals, you can make quite a bit as you can see.

Post in the Forum

This is one of the very interesting ways to get paid with Fusion Cash. You’ll get paid $3 each month that you make 30 contributory forum posts. I personally don’t have the time for this, but for you social folks who love posting on forums…why not get paid for it?

Follow Fusion Cash on Twitter

You’ll get paid $0.25 just for following Fusion Cash on Twitter. Typing that up, I suddenly started wishing you got paid a quarter every time you followed ANYONE on Twitter. We’d all be quite rich indeed lol. In all seriousness, this is definitely a very quick and easy 25 cents, so if you’re on Twitter, definitely follow Fusion Cash. 🙂

Submit Proof of Payment

If you submit a photo or screenshot of your Fusion Cash payment, you’ll be rewarded with an extra dollar!

Participate in Forum Promotions

Oftentimes a forum promotion occurs, such as “the first ten people to respond will get paid $0.10”. I must applaud Fusion Cash for this – it’s a great tactic to keep their forum extremely active.

How Much Money Can You Earn with FusionCash?

Honestly, the amount of money you can earn with Fusion Cash is based entirely on how active of a member you are – how many surveys you take, how many offers you complete, etc.

Some members only earn a few cents every so often (that would be me lol), while others have earned thousands of dollars.

One member's earnings of over three thousand dollars
This Fusion Cash member has earned over $3,000!

The difference is how actively you try to make money with Fusion Cash. In order to make thousands of dollars, you’d have to be extremely active, spending insane amounts of time doing offers and surveys. In my opinion it’s simply not worth the time to do this, as the pay is much less than minimum wage.

How Does FusionCash Pay?

Fusion Cash pays you via Paypal, direct deposit, or check. Before they pay you, you have to be approved which can take over a month in many cases. Once you’re approved, you’ll have to wait another few days before you receive your funds.

Is There a Minimum Payout Threshold?

Yes – you have to wait until you have $25 before you can cash out your earnings. This high cash out amount is the main reason why I didn’t rate Fusion Cash higher than I did.

It will take a lot of time and work before you hit $25, and since very few people stick around long enough to hit this mark, Fusion Cash is quite profitable themselves.

FusionCash Complaints

Fusion Cash is far from perfect, and this is reflected in the large number of complaints. As long as these complaints don’t bother you, Fusion Cash is pretty decent.

Not going to make you rich

As I mentioned earlier, the pay is worse than minimum wage. It takes a LOT of time and effort in order to make even $25, the amount required before you can cash out.

High cash out amount

$25 is really steep for a cash out minimum. Lots of other sites allow you to cash out at $5 or less.

You’ll lose all your earnings after 180 days

Your earnings expire after 6 months, so if you’re serious about earning money with Fusion Cash be sure to stay active and cash out regularly….

Before cashing out you need to verify your phone number

This isn’t much of a problem, except that MANY people have complained about their phone number being denied. I haven’t experienced this myself, but if you have, let me know down in the comments!

Only one account allowed per household

Again, not much of a problem as this is an understandable security measure. However, there are a lot of complaints that people were banned when they tried to cash out, because someone else signed up for Fusion Cash using the same internet connection or computer as them.

Available to US and Canadian residents only

Unfortunately, Fusion Cash is not universally available. Thankfully, there are plenty of other options out there including my #1 recommendation, which are available no matter your situation.

FusionCash Pros vs. Cons

  • 100% free
  • Many ways to earn
  • Higher paying surveys than most GPT sites
  • Fusion Cash is very established, having been created in 2005
  • Has a pretty good referral program
  • Pays via PayPal

  • Very high cash out amount
  • Only available in the US and Canada
  • You’ll lose your earnings after 6 months
  • It’s hard to qualify for any surveys (though this is true with any survey site)

Final Thoughts

Fusion Cash is a legitimate and paying “Get Paid To” website. It’s definitely not a scam, and has paid its members millions of dollars to date. However, it takes a lot of work, time, and effort in order to earn enough to just cash out.

In my opinion, Fusion Cash is not worth it and there are much better alternatives out there. In fact, I don’t think any GPT site is worth it – they are all similar in that they pay far below minimum wage.

My favorite way to make money online is by building my own website, writing articles and helping out my readers with their problems. This is the method top internet earners use, and the potential is truly unlimited.

If you put in the work to building your own website and monetizing it with affiliate links and ads, it’s possible to make $100s, $1,000s, or even $1,000,000s. I found an excellent training program that walks you through the process step-by-step. Some people have even complained that it’s too beginner friendly! 1. $1.50 after a few hours is honestly too little but I guess that’s pretty normal for survey sites as the idea is to do menial tasks in order to get small cash.

At least we know that it works and what’s important is that its not a scam although its still not a good way to earn full-time. Does it have any country limitation though? Most american survey sites do

    • Hi Riaz,

Yeah, the low pay is normal for these types of sites which is why I recommend building your own website. 🙂

As I mentioned in the review, it’s limited only to the US and Canada unfortunately. There are plenty of other options for people outside of these countries though, and you’re definitely not missing out because Fusion Cash isn’t that great….
